I have several law schools that I want to go to but even though I want to go there doesn't mean those schools will be the best choice for me. I have to take into account the location of the school, what it is known for, and how much financial aid I will get. I attended a pre-law conference this past semester and was told the location is a critical key in choosing the law school for you. Often time where you ended up going to school at is the same area that you will most likely have to work in. Therefore I have to keep in mind where I plan to live in the future in making my choice of school. Another factor I have to consider is what is the school known for and credentials. What I mean by that is the school known for the field of law that I want to specialize in and how many people graduate with a job.
I was told the same thing--wherever I went for graduate school would likely determine where I got my first teaching job. Here I am, less than 3 hours from the place I earned my degree!
